There are 10 things you can do right now to enjoy your life better. We tend to worry about so many things. Most of us have so many things on our mind. We are engrossed in too many activities. We take too little time out for ourselves. We have many roles we play, such as mother, daughter, employee and friend.
ONE: Be good to yourself. Take one day a week and do something JUST FOR YOU.
TWO: Show empathy to all people you meet and know. This will make you a better listener.
THREE: Make a WHAT NOT TO DO LIST. If you have been wasting time talking on the phone or taking time out for doing nothing, maybe it’s time to re-evaluate what you are doing that you should not be doing and switch to something you can do to feel good.
FOUR: If you have been feeling bad about something, change your attitude and begin to find something good in what happened to make you feel bad!
FIVE: Become interested about yourself and others. Curiosity will be served and can be learned.
SIX: NEVER stop learning. It is food for the brain. Take programs, seminar, attend internet opportunities and participate in the call.
SEVEN: Appreciate what you have. You do not know about what others have and it should not matter.
EIGHT: Get out of your own way and let go of your past. What happened happened. It’s over. Move on!
NINE: Take off your mask. Be who you are. People will judge you, no matter what you do so BE YOURSELF.
TEN: Surround yourself with positive people. LET GO of anyone who is bringing negativity into your life.
YOU CAN DO THIS!
Working with these ten steps is the first set of steps necessary to begin to have a healthy self-image. We all have WHAT TO DO lists, but how many of us have WHAT NOT TO DO LISTS? If we know what we will no longer do, we will have time to do the things we enjoy and love. We will have time to be with the people who bring out happiness in us. We deserve that.
Once you have mastered these ten steps, you will be on your way to being a happy and secure person. This is an amazing feeling and one that we all need to feel… that is… if we want to feel good about ourselves.
